Okay, so I'm giving in, as Anthony is bringing his PSOne in for me, because he's a sweetheart and we love him, and I want to get better at DDR, but arcade = expensive and not nearby. PSX imports are kind of out of the question, as it's not modded already, and it's sort of not mine, although if I could figure out a way to get my hands on the X fighting game, I'd consider talking Anthony into it. Which leaves the three USA DDR releases - DDR, Konamix, and Disney mix, and as I don't like Disney quite that much, it's down to DDR and DDR Konamix, both of which I can get.

Now, Konamix is $10 cheaper, but...can anybody offer a comparasion between the two before I shell out thirty or forty bucks? Or are you all perfectly happy with your little expensive PS2s that I can't afford, leaving me to hope for the best on my own ^^?

I recommend that you download Stepmania, because it owns.
http://www.stepmania.com

It's a DDR MAX emulator for the computer. Now all you have to do is buy a pad and a converter from PS to USB, and you can hook up your pad to your computer and play. ^_^ This is how Skuld gets most of her playing done when she doesn't want to go to the arcade on campus. From there, you can grab songs online or make your own. It's bundles of joy, and best of all, aside from paying for the pad and the converter, it's FREE. ^_^
