Okay, so I'm giving in, as Anthony is bringing his PSOne in for me, because he's a sweetheart and we love him, and I want to get better at DDR, but arcade = expensive and not nearby. PSX imports are kind of out of the question, as it's not modded already, and it's sort of not mine, although if I could figure out a way to get my hands on the X fighting game, I'd consider talking Anthony into it. Which leaves the three USA DDR releases - DDR, Konamix, and Disney mix, and as I don't like Disney quite that much, it's down to DDR and DDR Konamix, both of which I can get.

Now, Konamix is $10 cheaper, but...can anybody offer a comparasion between the two before I shell out thirty or forty bucks? Or are you all perfectly happy with your little expensive PS2s that I can't afford, leaving me to hope for the best on my own ^^?

Sure, they both suck.

There ya go.

I would have to say buy Konamix, since you get End of the Century, and most of the ones on the original.

Neither has Butterfly, though...

Konamix. Many many many more songs and features. It's not as poppy happy as Max and Max2, but a respectable game nonetheless. ^_^

Third the Konamix, as it has B4U and Dive, both of which I heart. It also has La Seniorita Virtual.. YAY! And.. A bunch of fairly easy beginner songs, very good learner game.

Hmm...

I started on Konamix and I enjoy it pretty much. Try that one first!

I recommend that you download Stepmania, because it owns.
http://www.stepmania.com

It's a DDR MAX emulator for the computer. Now all you have to do is buy a pad and a converter from PS to USB, and you can hook up your pad to your computer and play. ^_^ This is how Skuld gets most of her playing done when she doesn't want to go to the arcade on campus. From there, you can grab songs online or make your own. It's bundles of joy, and best of all, aside from paying for the pad and the converter, it's FREE. ^_^

Oh my gosh.
No complaining about not having a gaming console when there are poor souls like myself who have never even owned a game boy
*pats the cocoapuff*
I love you anyway.

Pshh. You had my Gameboy Pocket and game for over a year and never used the thing ^^ And you know quite well you can come over and play games here if you want. Or at Jonathan's, he'd probably be more than happy to share his undying Zelda love ^^
