Apparently my default AIM downloads folder is listed as being created in 1984.

On the plus side, though, my Gallery install stopped being made of stupid! So I sat down and imported all the folders from my previous two installs, so everything that was in the last one, plus some, is now here. I've got a few more folders sitting around my harddrive to go up, but I need to sort and edit some of them first.

(And Mara-thing, we totally need to do a photoshoot with the wedding kimono at some point, just because that's one of my favorite outfits and I have so few photos of it)

There is some one on third talking, or listening to a movie, or something, and I can't figure out who it is to yell at them.

I have to be up in six hours to write an exam I really need to pass, and it looks like I'm going to end up laying awake wearing another layer of enamel off my teeth, as I've discovered I grind them when I'm angry. And right now I am very angry.

Well, I managed to answer my own PB question by browing RE image galleries and going 'Oooh, Annette scan! ...Wait, no, that's Jill', and then realizing if I recoloured Jill's hair, she'd be pretty close - a little too pretty, but better than anything else I've found so far. And I had to rename her, because there was an Elena already - so she's Anisia now.

And I made delicous Sexy Evil Bastard Soup today, and Liz made snickerdoodles, and it was full of win.

Guess who finally caved and just bought boots and a shirt for default RE4!Leon? Yep, me. I couldn't resist, though, the boots were sooo cheap. Like $25-for-an-$80-pair cheap. And I really will wear the stuff outside of cosplay - my two pairs of everyday shoes are kind of crap for Vancouver winters (one soaks through easily, the other has no traction on most wet surfaces).

...Yeah, I can justify _anything_.

I have some really cracked out stuff floating around on my computer. I was trying to dig up the conversation in which Asher was named (because I am having too much fun with wiki-editing for RR), and I came across this thread, and then, going through my AIM logs to find the AIM convo I had with Jesse about it, discovered that I also have all these chat room logs - mostly the FMA dub chat, and a whole bunch with Mara, Claudia and Yuumei. I'm poking through the later bunch as well, and so far have found references to Alexis molesting everbody and the Vegtable Peeler of Happiness (owned by Michelle). My life is so very, very interesting sometimes.

And Scientist Chick has a name now - Elena. I'm mucking around doing research for her and wishing Yana had internet and wasn't writing the Putnam today, because I need someone to translate course listing from Russian. I am also happy to see that Rio has more actual Brazilians now.

Poking through the other RR accepted journals - please, please, people, put the city the character is in either in the bio, or use LJ's lovely built-in function for it. I'm trying to figure out who Asher might already know, and I can't tell who's in what city. I can't even guess from the names half the time because it seems like a lot of people have characters with English names who've moved to various cities from somewhere else.

And I've got 'Anarchy' stuck in my head now. Thanks, Asher.

Final Bio lab paper? Done! It's not exactly a work of staggering scientific genius, but I got to use the word 'physiologically' and it's not total crap.

Now, to survive the oral presentation tomorrow. Which I still need to make my slides for, but with the paper done, that'll be like five minutes. Have to wait for my other group members to send me their stuff, too, so I don't cover anything they do.

Also, Vancouver? This is the sort of weather I came out here to avoid. Actually, wouldn't mind the cold outside so much if it was nice and warm in here, but my house is freezing - I've woken up multiple times the last two nights because I'm so cold. And yes, I'm doing everything I can think of short of wearing my winter coat to bed.

Yep, it's that time of year again. People who want cards, leave a comment with your address here (comments are screened) or send me an e-mail. If you'd like an in-character card or something, feel free to request it - I may do it for some people just for the hell of it.

Oh, and I'm throwing in something new this year, too. As I think some people know, I make fandom cookies (see icon) for fun, and have sent them to various people over the last couple years. This year, everybody gets some, unless you don't want sugar cookies for some reason. So if you've got a particular request, canon or OC, request away ^^

I know nobody here has an answer, but I just kind of have to be confused at _someone_ - why have I suddenly been removed as a maintainer over at S_F? It's the total randomness of the timing that confuses me most, I think.

Well. Time to start archiving entries for nostalgia in case she does something truely idiotic like delete them. And the bitter passive-aggresive part of me wants to delete the images from my server in retribution, but that accomplishes nothing.

Lab today was interesting, although slightly less so than yesterday because there was a lot more watching involved - making gels, and one of the key ingredients is a potent neurotoxin, so we weren't allowed to mix or pour the actual liquid. And I really need to do laundry, but I also just want to curl up in my nice warm bed and sleep.

EDIT: Alright, went and archived all the S_F entries, as well as the Lobby and everybody's character LJs save Asher and Ally ('cause they're mine and going nowhere). If anyone would like to benefit from my insanity and have a zip file of them all, leave a comment XD;

EDIT 2: Don't get me wrong, I actually do like the Red Hot Chili Peppers a great deal. But if I have to hear 'Dani California' blaring down the hall one more time, heads will roll. Floormate, get some different music, and RHCP, please write about something that isn't drug use and/or SoCal. It's old.
