Because Winter is making me do it >.>

STEP ONE
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. [Note: Your home address is not required!]

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

***

1) Music - data CD is best, as I've got an mp3 player, but mix CD, YSi, whatever, all good ^^ Industrial/EBM or alt-folk are my genres of choice lately - I've got pretty much full discographies of NIN and KMFDM, minus remixes, which would be appreciated, and all of VNV Nation, including remixes, Vienna Teng minus 'Dreaming Through the Noise'. I'd like more E Nomine, Covenant, Assemblege 23, possibly Combichrist - you get the idea. The two actual albums I'd like are aforementioned 'Dreaming Through the Noise' and VNV Nation's 'Matter+Form'.
2) The Digital Devil Saga games. I'd be happy even just to borrow them for a while, but I'm slow at RPGs, so it'd have to be from someone who didn't mind not having them for a year or so :\ Stupid Atlus and their stupid lack of stock. Possibly Persona, as well. Damn Atlus.
3) Gift art or fic for my OCs or favorite pairings. OCs are mostly Ally and Asher, although I'm happy providing descriptions if someone wants to try Isaac and Raphael. Pairings - Dante/Virgil, Dante/Vergil, Rufus/Tseng, Braska/Auron, Clow/Yue, Hamlet/Horatio, Ada/Leon, Ada/Claire/Leon (OT3 FTW!), probably something else I've mentioned in the past and can't recall at the moment.
4) Fun socks. I prefer knee-highs, but the kind that come up over the ankle are fine too. Sock Dreams is a good place for them, although I've got fun socks from places like Target, as well. The military bootsocks at Sock Dreams in particular, as my Christmas present to myself is going to be a pair of boots.
5) Food. I am a total foodie - candy/chocolates/desserts particularly, but really good homemade food in general makes me a happy camper. Or tea and related accesories. I feel you can neve rhave enough tea.
6) T-shirts from ZeStuff (particularly the VG Cats and 8-Bit Theatre ones) or stuff from my Think Geek wishlist
7) Homemade stuff in general, really - I have such awesomely talented friends ♥
8) Cyberpunk-styled stuff - a little vague, I know, but music, clothes (can be handmade, I don't mind), accessories, whatever.
9) Interesting stationary stuff - either paper (neat handmade stationary = awesome), pen ink (I've got a Parker Vector fountain pen and no ink for it), sealing wax, etc.
10) A decent vibrator. Or barring that, recs for one >.>

A general rule of thumb, gift fic and art aside, is that I'm big on practical stuff. And I feel like I must make a small addition of things not to get me ^^; Candles, incense, or journals - they're always super-nice, but I have sooo much that hasn't been put to good use yet.

Address to come in a locked post, or you can e-mail me for it. And wishlists from other people would be excellent, I'm always terrified that people are going to hate what I buy for them D:

Okay, describe Isaac and Raphael right here & I'll take a crack at them. Could use the practice in any case. ;)

Isaac - medium height, kinda skinny. Blue eyes, gold-blonde hair that's pretty short, with bangs that hit about mid-ear and are parted in the middle. Tends to wear button-down shirts with no tie and the sleeves rolled up, with khakis. Silver-framed glasses, pale, often has dark circles under his eyes from staying up too late grading papers XD;

Raphael - tall, broad-shouldered, fairly muscular although not bodybuilder-ripped or anything. More almond-shaped dark-brown eyes, and very straight dark-brown hair that's just past shoulder-length that he wears pulled back in loose ponytail. Tan, tends to dress plainly, is generally more reserved than Isaac is.

That enough :D?

Re: 10: While giving the gift of toys is pretty much the greatest joy of my life, and I would be more than happy to add you to my list of people who are getting fun things this year, it would really help me out if you gave more of a hint as to what kind you're thinking of.

I...really don't know. This is shiny and new territory for me.

Random after-hours stalking. Might I suggest taking into consideration size (length, width) if you want a dildo vibrator--bumps, ribbs, and curved are also individual factors. Or if you're going for one of those little finger or tongue ones, take in speed settings, hand-held or "shove it in my purse and no one will find it but me >_>;" sizes.

For both, also think about if you want them to be battery operated, plugged into electrical outlets (I... don't recommend that o.o), or just plain "I'll boil it to sterlize and it's fine." Speaking of sterlizing, silicone's the best, since it won't melt if you sterlize via boiling. But it's more expensive.

Rubber... I'd use soap and water.

... There's also plastics and glass, for both dildos/vibrating dildos/and the little hand helds.

Hope this was helpful. (My speech & typing are jumbly due to lack of sleep.)

I'm fairly indiscriminate - just not anything with currants or cranberries, I think.
