Another update from the Place That Is Actually Warm (As opposed to MA, AKA 'Siberia') ^^ Went to see some botanical gardens yesterday, took loooots of photos (I blame the camillias...first time I've ever seen actual camillias, so I had to get a photo, and it was downhill from there). Ben and I got haircuts, too. Mine is a little girlier than the last one, I think, but it's cute, so it's all good ^^
Tomorrow will be clothes shopping...I dare ask for some advice from the people reading this with actual style ^^

Date: 2004-02-18 04:50 am (UTC)From:1. ditto on the combat boots.
2. Ties. You look good in ties.
3. Black, white, purple & green mainly for colors. Pink looks good.. a dull pink though. Like that one you had in 8th grade that made you look like a student teacher. That kind of pink. (you get a neon pink leotard, I will go oedipus on you and gouge out my eyes)
4. A sexy, slightly revealing top. (halter? god forbid... clevage?) I say this for two reasons. One, it would be interesting to see you looking like a female. Two- you have a really nice figure. You should at least try to show it off. Maybe even a skirt to go with it? Naw... can't really see you in a skirt. Women's dress slacks? Okay, ixnay on the womens clothes I think. Can't picture you in estrogen.
5. Aww, come on. Shock me. Get a fem outfit.
6. Button down shirts and slacks look VERY good on you.
7. Stay awayyyyy from skorts. They're tacky. I hate them. You should hate them too.
8. stay in the buisness-y style cause it looks good on you, but make sure it's comfortable. Do not by anything that's uncomfortable.
9. Don't do mainstream fashion. It looks like shit on everyone, and would make you look like a frigging dork. 'course I don't think I have to worry about that for you. You hate modern fashion ^___^
10. Silver stud earings. They go with everything.
11. suits are snazzy... but make sure not everything is in black and white. Get a belt too. Suits look realy friggin tacky without a belt cause the belt loops are just going BLAH and hanging out there and it looks dumb.
12. Shirts that will fit under a button down shirt this way you can layer. Your Subaru tank top is a good thing for starters- but in the summer, tank tops are good too.
13. Low rise (not ULTRA low rise. Low rise as in sit on your hips) women’s dress slacks will look good when you’re doing a layering thing. The pants that sit on your natural waist cut you in half- you have a long torso, and unless something is covering the slacks, it’ll look dorky, like you’re cut in half. Mens slacks look good in a suit, and on men- because men’s waists sit lower than females. General rule of thumb is if it sits above you’re navel, you’re verging in on dork territory. You don’t want that.
14. Pleasepleaseplease don’t hide you’re figure. Sure, it’s great for cosplaying, but everywhere else, feel free to show off your figure. This doesn’t mean skin tight- you can show it off in fitted clothing too. Baggy does not become you, because you’re thin. The clothes sag all over you and make you look like a rich hobo.

That's all I have to say ^_^
