Ahh, I love masquerades~ And given who our host is, I expect this will be quite the party. Grelle, would you care to accompany me? If you are not otherwise occupied, of course.

And Miss Sheska, Miss 4 - if you are planning to attend and need assistance with costumes, don't hesitate to ask.

Time to get to planning!

Oh, that's very kind of you, Clow-san! I was thinking about a medusa. Beautiful and dangerous - very unlike me, which I think is the point. I have a dress that will work marvelously, but I should like to find a mask or headdress with snakes in it. I don't think this is a costume that the Host Club is likely to have, so I don't think I can borrow something from them for this. Do you know of a place where they might sell such a mask?

Hmm. I'm certain I could obtain something suitable. An excellent choice - the old myths always a have a certain...weight to them, that newer choices lack.

It's a black gown with a sort of subtle, shimmery sparkle to it, if that helps. I'm rather excited about this whole thing, to be honest. I've never been to a costume ball before!

Oh, there are stories about them? They didn't in my world, but I remembered seeing a picture in one of the books laying out in a young-adult section of the library. I just didn't stop to read it - I wish I had!

They're great fun! A favourite of mine.

There are - the gorgons were said to be the protectors of ancient oracles, and Medusa was their queen.

I hope so! Is there any particular etiquette I should be aware of? I would hate to offend anyone.

Oh! I'm certainly no queen, but I suppose that's part of what the holiday is about, not being yourself. Gorgons - a strange word - is that the race of creatures?

Nothing out of the usual for this one, I think - though if someone wishes to hide their identity with their mask, it is polite not to press them on it.

A bit, yes - costumes can be a sort of ideal self, I find. And yes, that was the race. Part woman, part snake.

Masquerade.

Ah, you are not familiar with the term? A sort of fancy party, where everyone dresses up wears elaborate masks to match. In very formal ones, everybody must wear a mask, so nobody knows the identities of the other guests going in, but this is somewhat more casual than that.

Dreadfully fun~

Ah, it sounds quite fun.

The perfect mix of mystery and elegance, yes.

You should come!

I do not have such an outfit. Traditional clothing would not suffice.

Ah, well, that's not hard to solve. What would you like to dress up as?
