-Increased dose of Wellbutrin does craaaazy things to my brain. Anxiety as a side-effect + pre-existing anxiety disorders = five hours of me fidgeting compulsively and being totally unable to focus on anything. Hopefully it'll even out after a few days but whoa, that was a bit intense

-Have gotten mostly caught up on Merlin S2 (haven't watched tonight's ep yet, but soon!), and oh BBC, I love you and your iffy script-writing and bad special effects. Best moment so far was the incredibly awkward not-hug which I will be laughing about forever.

-I still hate 18th century lit ahhhhh.

Okay time to try to sleep :|

I saw this on the ooc friendslist and had to chip in my two cents - IN CHARACTER NO LESS - that oh god large doses of wellbutrin are a very scary place to be. I had a strange reaction to begin with, but I found that anything higher than 200mg made me feel sketched out and shakey, & no fun. Are you taking bupropion in tandem with any other meds?

(ahhhh merlin s2, I am still halfway through it, I've been busy pausing the video to take notes!)

Haha somehow that is a very appropriate character to be posting that with. The 150mg made me edgy without really touching the 'oh god why am I tired all the time'. I'm not on anything else right now aside from 'take it only when you really need it' zopiclone. I'm giving this like two more days to see if it evens out at all, and if not I'm switching back down to the 150mg because the 300 may wake me up more but it's not much good if I am freaking out too much to do anything. I should probably try something anti-anxiety, in case that's been what's fucking up my sleep and making me tired, but that requires getting over my anxiety long enough to bring it up with my psych.

Ahhhh tl;dr - Merlin is definitely full of win, and have you gotten to the awkward not!hug yet? It's at the end of ep 6.

I felt like it was bizarrely fitting so I went with it haha. Yeah I was on 150, and then went up to 300 and promptly felt like my heart was going to give out - so the doctor put me down to 200 and added cipralex to curb my anxiety. The combo has actually worked out pretty well for me, which I understand is the case with a LOT of people on wellbutrin? In small doses I find it's great to keep me alert and focused (obviously not so much in larger doses) and it mixes well with other mood-adjusting drugs.

Yeah the only thing I find about Wellbutrin is it puts you on an insane sleep regimine. When I switched to the 300mg I was up at 7 am without fail, and then crashing utterly at 9 pm. Kind of like low-grade speed....... maybe a lower dose augmented with an anti-anxiety med might work in your case? IDK I just know a few people who it's worked for as well, so...

MORE TL;DR isn't Merlin awesome - I got to that part last night!! The troll bride arc was absolutely the best, this series needs less angst and more uncouth humour

Awww Yoite, Braska will give you a hug and cookies :< I actually sat down and read Nabari a couple weeks ago because Erin kept talking about it.

Haha it's worth trying to bring up next time I see my psych. I fell asleep sometime between 5:30 and 6am this morning after giving in and taking some zopiclone because my brain would just not shut up. I think at least part of it is that 150 to 300 was kind of a big jump up (it's the extended release which I don't think comes in 200, unfortunately), so I'm still trying to adjust to the increased dosage. Unfortunately pretty much everything that increases energy also increases anxiety as a side effect, aaah.

I know, that was great. I am also happy that this season has moar Uther because Anthony Head is kind of amazing.

Were you able to sleep? I ended up going to bed at 1 after I finished my paper XD

I LOVE THE BBC. My friend watches Merlin and she loves it. I've been meaning to watch more BBC stuff... sigh. I love.

I don't blame you. The 19th century isn't all that much better. ;)

Yes, at...5:30. After taking sleeping meds @.@

You should watch Merlin - if nothing else, you will like it for the fact that Arthur his hot and he and Merlin are an ambiguously gay duo. Just....this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUYIABM3CLQ).
