[Locked to Sheska]

I forgot to ask you on Friday night - when did you want to start training? I haven't seen the brat Yuffie around lately, but if you'd like her to come as well, you're welcome to get in touch with her.

1/2 Step one... panic.

Ah! I apologize! We were supposed to go out and then I fell asleep, and the dreaming and...

'Supposed to'...? We did go out - don't you remember?

And you had said you wanted hand-to-hand training.

But... we couldn't have! I was asleep! At least, I had the most lovely dream, and when I woke up, it was Monday, and 4 said I'd been sleeping the whole time...

...Did I sleepwalk?

You seemed totally awake at the time.

Although...it's all a little fuzzy. Hm.

I've never sleepwalked before, that I know of - given my living conditions back in Central, I think I would have gotten irrevocably stuck under a book pile a lot sooner had that been the case. And there is, um, at least one other person who was talking about having slept for an awfully long time - around the same time period I was, I think, if I'm reading the implications properly. According to the Network's past entries, there seems to have been some sort of incident, though it's a bit unclear and... Hm. I think I really must have slept through it. (http://librariansheart.livejournal.com/7776.html) That was Friday.

Strange. I don't remember seeing that entry... it was just a perfectly normal weekend. No strange Desai stuff at all.

Perhaps you could ask the other Turks? I'm not sure who to ask, except for perhaps Sparda-sama. He might know how to find out if I didn't come to work on Friday.

I'll talk to them and get it sorted out...a touch concerning, but things seem as normal as they usually get now, so I suppose there's no harm in the end.

You still haven't answered my question, you know.

I just hope you won't get anyone angry because we didn't turn up for the reservations...

Oh! The training! Are you able to do that with your knee the way it is?

Date: 2009-11-19 04:06 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] citydragon.livejournal.com
I wouldn't try sparring, but I can run you through the beginning steps - they can take a while on their own. And some exercise would be good.

I'm sure I'll be utterly hopeless, which will be good for you. But you must promise to tell me when it hurts beyond stretching muscles which haven't been stretched in a while. We should probably take breaks anyway, but if you're really hurting, you can rest while I practice. Then you can point out what I'm doing wrong. We'll get you a long stick so you can poke me.

Don't worry, I know my limits. I think the stick will be unnecessary.

Mm, sorry. I shouldn't lecture. I'm trying to get rid of that habit. I look forward to the lesson, though. Would weekends be all right, or would you rather it be more often? I should be able to shuffle my schedule around if necessary.

Once a week is probably fine for now - you're not used to the workout, so it's best to build up slowly.

Saturday, then? Starting about one?
