Occasionally Ubuntu really blows my mind. I just discovered that I can connect directly to my FTP server, no extra software required. I don't know why I find this so awesome, but I do. Also I am a huge nerd in two entirely different ways for this - I'm thinking about rooting my smartphone (tech nerdy), in part so I can make a ShinRa logo splash screen to match my Midgar wallpaper (fandom nerdy).
Anyway, rest of this post is a photo post \o/ Some FF7 cosplay stuff, some random amusing IRL stuff. I decided to embed the photos this time, so they are hidden below.
First, horrible AC!Rufus WIP shots. Mara's comment: "You look so miserable. It's very IC." Also yes I made those shirts myself /crazy

We get the best brand names at work (a not-pictured favorite: Double-D Farms melons). And the second one is only amusing if you're an SR player - in which case you never want to eat those mangoes, ever.
My very artistic lunch the other day.
Justin's MEATWICH. It's not the greatest quality photo, but is two burger patties with mushrooms and fried egg inbetween.

Did you have to do anything really arcane to make it work? I'm considering putting Jaunty Jackalope on my old iBook (community maintained PowerPC ports ftw), but not if I can't ssh into my phone with it.
