I had a friend who was a memeber of the SOLDIER program, and when he forgot to pull his punches - well, let's say I spent the next day and a half in the infirmary.

I can probably arrange for some range time, if you're interested. I may not be able to stand but I'll be damned if I can't fire a gun like this.

If you don't use a gun, you won't get far in our battlefields, sir. Especially against Covenant technology. Spartans have been trained to use any weapon so we can be ready for any situation.
