Moonrunner, Alliance side. Say hi to Shavra, Inararnolds, Ahrianna, Jerasha, Ceraan...well, those are the ones I sign onto the most. Yes, I have an army of alts and have my character slots for the server filled. >_>
So, if you roll a toon there, say hi! ^_^ Or join our guild and hang out some, we've got some great people. ~bounces~
So far I've tried every class in the game. I haven't gotten a rogue up to level 10 yet, but I plan to eventually! (They sit at level 7 and collect dust, get deleted, and then I eventually tell myself it wasn't fair of me and start over again. lol)
Hey, it's the best way to figure out what you're going to enjoy the most! Sure, some people stick with one class, or even with one character, but then you don't know what to expect from the others around you, and you don't know if you're giving good advice or sounding like a total jerk. ^_~

I'm on Bronzebeard with my main character Cerith! We have a totally cool, all-girls guild that's LJ based. Check us out on wow_dota. It's really casual, and there's a lot of activities for people of all levels.
Ooh, neat. The gaming club here has a big Feathermoon guild, but they seem pretty hardcore, so I'm not sure I want to join them - they're more your stereotypical WoW players - mid-20s guys who live with their parents and spent 5+ hours a day on WoW >.>

Yeah joining a hardcore guild right at first go might be really overwhelming. You should take it easy and explore everything slowly. Take a look at the wow_dota and you'll see lots of social events organized that are open to all levels. Guildchat is also really active so there's always people to talk to if you're bored or need to ask questions.
If you want an invite, make a character and poke me on aim. My aim username's still the same as my lj name.

And I have no idea why that last reply was so weird. Anyway, its wow_dota on Bronzebeard. If you decide to come, I'll set you up with a bunch of bags, so you'll have more inventory space at least.
I'm sorry D: However, WoW cannot displace my need for my tabletop RPG crack, if it makes you feel any better XD; It's more just replacing all the time I spend aimlessly surfing the net and refreshing my e-mail, flist, and Dumpshock every five minutes.
