Gay For Virgil

Screw Bridget, all the poets are gay for Virgil. No, really - I think I may have found something that tops the shameless fanboy-ism of the Divine Comedy. Tennyson's 'To Virgil' - I think the title alone says it all.

Though I still claim Dante/Virgil OTP!

Yeah, when I read The Inferno I got a bunch of Dante/Virgil vibes going there. Nobody else in the class did.

That's because they suck. Or your translation was one of the ones where Dante calls Virgil 'father' a lot, which I guess is a different sort of sketchy.
