I'm _this_ close to just totally snapping and killing someone. I had to ask the girl next door to turn her music down last night at 12:30 when I went to bed, and I was woken up by it again at ten this morning. And earplugs do nothing, because it's her fucking bass. It's high enough that it makes things in my room vibrate, and _nothing_ blocks it. I was also woken up by what I suspect was two very drunk people talking very loudly in the hall at two thirty.

Net result? I haven't had a good night's sleep in a month, and it's turning me into an emotional wreck, because lack of sleep makes a total mess of my moods. I can't even take naps, because the bass is _constant_.

Today is Colour Wars, but fuck that. I hate my house, I don't want to support them. I'm going to sit around wearing black and glaring at people with my headphones on, and then go get myself a tv.

I probably could, but would likely end up in a double, and all of the buildings in this residence are loud, and nobody in the other one is going to want to give their's up.

i wonder if you could complain to the person in charge of your building? i mean, seriously. there must be SOME sort of rule about that.

I may go to the RA, but if it's not during quiet hours, I just sound like a whiney ass x.x The girl next door seems like a perfectly nice person, but her music really is starting to drive me up the wall.

if you can FEEL it in your apatment, and not just a little, if your chair is acutally vibrating with it, then something needs to be done. that is not whining. that's your neighbor having complete and utter lack of common courtesy and/or sense.

Well, it's usually not quite to the chair-vibrating point, although vibrating mirror on the wall is pretty common (it's the wall our rooms share, which is the largest of the four).

And ahaha, apartment. Oh how I wish XD;

cubicle, bedroom, whatever :D

seriously. that's just not good. she probably has the stereo up against that wall. she needs to do something about it so it doesn't bother everyone else.

Somewhere between cubicle and bedroom.

It's not actually against the wall; I saw the inside of her room the other night when I went to ask her to turn it down. She just has a really hardcore sound system or something.

which is awesome when you're not living crammed like sardines in a can.

sorry. i just have very little patience with people who don't think about that close living quarters means they need to make some changes to their lives.

I'm moving to that particular side of thought, I think. I kind of want to scream 'Just buy yourself some fucking headphones!', but that would definately be being an asshole XD;

lol. it's true, though. you want loud music? plug it directly to your ears. no one else wants to hear it. or feel it. ^___^

Word. I've actually mostly been using my headphones, because it blocks the noise next door better.
