I just felt the need to share this with the world: Rufus Shinra is really, really hot. Seriously. I can't stop staring at that.

And Jen wins so much for scanning that originally (Jen - or possibly Skuld - do you know what doujin that was from? Because ZOMGWANT.)

Also, Michelle's opinion on his unexplained survival is that he keeps a parachute in his desk. For emergencies, you know.

That was from a book called Loveless (http://sodasexy.ladyaislianuproductions.com/images/mine/DJ_Loveless_a_V.jpg), though there was no more Rufus by that artist (Rin Kigawa, who I love for she does SephirothxZackxCloud hot!crack *points to icon*) in it. ;_; But I do have a couple preteen!Rufus drawings by her... he's not hot, though. Of course.

Oh yes, Rufus is really hot. I'm a secret fan of his you know, though I don't advertise it around much. Is there ever much good fanfic of Rufus out there? I've never been able to find any.

My first play-through, I didn't pay much attention to him. But he and the Turks started to win me over. As far as fic...[livejournal.com profile] hazelator has some good stuff, and most of the Bishounenink (http://www.bishink.org/) stuff in the FF7 'verse is good (most of it is Rufus and Turks, too)

Yay, I'll be sure to check that link out. I think the key to why I like Rufus so much is because he's just human, trying to survive in the crazy FF world where everyone else has special skills and abilities. *koff falling off a tall building and landing without injury anyone koff* That he's able to survive with such panache and charisma and ruthless determination makes me go all fangirly over him.
