Today...has been an interesting day. Drove my brother around, spent three hours working on my last Biotech project, and another hour getting my car started. Luckily Ms. Lang has infinite patience, and Mr. Barys is a god among men when it comes to cars, so I did in fact get home.
I realised that I didn't really speak of my Fabric Place adventures this past weekend, yet - I got some nice fake fur for Alexis, buckles for a tailcoat I nearly finished two months ago except for them, and nine yards of black PVC for Sephiroth. All in all, I'm rather pleased.
I have the SAT IIs (again) on Saturday, which of course explains why I'm reading FF7 fanfic, trying not to spend even more money on things I don't really need, and contemplating why I find Rufus Shinra really damned hot.

They totally are. I can't believe I never noticed in the actual game, but man...they were so totally fucking each other in Advent Children. :3 *full of squee*

That's the canonical Rufus-pairing, I think. I've seen Rufus/Sephiroth and Rufus/Reno, but I believe Rufus/Tseng is the most common. Nothing wrong with that! :D
Oh, and speaking of Rufus...
I thought he was dead. o_o;; If I recall correctly, he was in Shinra Tower when it was exploded by Diamond Weapon, right? *scratches head* Am I to assume that he's in a wheelchair because his spinal cord is very unhappy and broken? Or is he just a lazy ass? >_>

Yeah, he was. I think they even show a little five second explosion flashback. I think I like the parody subs' explanation best:
Cloud: You totally died.
Rufus: No, you see, I'm fine--
Cloud: There were explosions!
Rufus: I ducked.
Cloud: That's RETARDED.
And it's not broken - he stands up at one point, which, uh, doesn't work if your legs are paralyzed. I could buy some other sort of back injury though, which could just make it very, very painful to stand up. But so much is on crack in that universe anyway, I don't think it's really supposed to make medical sense.
