Calculus is the tool of Satan, I think. I can only get through about three quarters of my homework problems at all, even with the solutions manual, because I simply don't understand where the hell they're getting some of these steps.

This, combined with all the editing and revising I have to do on my Shakespeare paper and the fact that I'm working for three hours means that I don't get to watch Advent Children until after school tomorrow. Nooooo. (Which also means that your reply will have to wait until tomorrow too, Mara - sorry)

Also, I am incredibly screwed for my Calc test on Thursday. I was doing so well up until this section, too...

...I don't envy you that at all ^^;

Calculus ain't bad. Differential equations are the tool of Satan, let me tell you. Along with combinatorics. *shudder*

And shit dude, Advent Children is awesome. It also still kind of works in the ALHR context of Cloud being all "I LOVE SEPHIROTH but I'm full of AAAAANGST!" sense. AAAAANGST!

I think I'm going to go and read ALHR again or something. *prepares the shovel and the bucket-o-angst* Maybe I'll just skip to the good bits.

...Those even just _sound_ painful. I hope I don't have to ever do them >.>

Yay, Sephiroth/Cloud :D And damnit, now you're going to tempt me with ALHR which I totally don't have time to re-read XD;

Pah, who needs grades and such? All that matters in the end is that

CLOUD HAS MONSTER BABIES!!

and he and Sephiroth finally get to fuck. YEEEEEEAH! Come on, how could you not want to read ALHR when you've got great passages like:

... and then, five years down the pike, with all your dreams gone, smashed at your feet, rent and torn by your own bloody hands, you look up, and see him standing less than three feet from you, in all the glory that God had ever given man, as if you had simply blinked, and the space from Nibelheim to now was only a passing fancy, a dream of an echo of a dream.

That is just stunning prose.

Seph/Cloud 4evar, yo.

Yes, but I have to read through all the boring bits with the Lifestream and stuff too XD I just want the soap opera-esque romance ^^

Yeah, the Lifestream being all crazyevil was annoying. I can't believe I slogged through like...26 chapters of NON-STOP ANGST (it's a wonder I didn't throw myself in front of a truck or jump off the Harvard Bridge) to get like...two teensy chapters of sex and then MORE NON-STOP ANGST!! I think I was so pleased to finally meet Twig at my going away party at Sunset that I forgot to throttle her. Oh well. Skuld + Beer = Happy. Must remember to be drinking while re-reading ALHR.

I just want the soap opera-esque romance ^^

At least ALHR doesn't have things like being possessed by the devil or cheating on your S.O. with three different people. So it's slightly less trashy? Though I dunno, I remember a couple of clubbin'/dancin' and blanket scenes in there, which are probably the yaoi fanfiction equivalent of the soap opera.

The awesome prose and the attention to detail with the other characters (the original characters were awesomely created) redeem it. >_> I swear!

Yeah, it was like a soap opera with characterization and plot XD I wonder if I could go through and just take out all the good bits of the fic and replace the bits in-between with thirty second summaries of what happens XD
