WordPress

So, I'm thinking of switching my regular blog over from MovableType to WordPress, as I've been hearing good things about it and not being able to upgrade MovableType is getting annoying.

Seeing as I think there's one or two people here who have used WordPress, what do you like/don't like about it? And how hard is it to code layouts compared to Blogger/MovableType/LJ, etc.?

WordPress is dead easy and slick as hell. Making your layouts work in WP is much easier than doing it with LJ. I can't remember having any issues with WP, although I do like Textpattern (http://textpattern.com/) a little better, but it's harder to get started with. I definitely liked WP better than MT, it's just smoother, prettier, and easier.

Hmm...I'll check Textpattern out, too, then ^^
