I think if I were a sound effect right now, it would be 'splat.' Seriously, I'm hitting my about-to-fall-asleep-on-keyboard point, and it's only quarter past eight. Stupid body. Why must it insist on so much sleep? Although, the fact that it's been really cold the last few days probably isn't helping a whole lot. The combination of the two makes me miss people, and want snuggles. And the only person who'd ever give me snuggles is Winter (Who currently has more than enough to deal with already), as I am unloved like that.
Randomly, something that pisses me off - Friends Only. I mean, I get the point, but I'd prefer to find out if I find someone's LJ interesting before I friend them, which is made quite impossible by friends-only, and thus annoys the fuck out of me. I actually don't really like LJ that much as a whole, but nobody will read my regular blog if I just post there, so, being an attention-whore (I'm naturally invisible otherwise, I may as well be if I want a social life), I don't have much of a choice. Alright, anti-LJ rant over ^^
Anyway. Today I drew, hemmed, read, took crapy standardized tests, and played Deus Ex, not neccesarily in that order. And that was largely it. My, isn't my life facinating?
Icon stuff - this is the bunch of Subaru and Seishirou icons I may have mentioned making earlier. As the people who I talked to specifically didn't seem interested, they go to the masses, as much as I really don't like doing that. All I ask - tell me if you take them, and try to use them if you take them. I make them out of love, but also for the minor ego-boost I get when I see people actually appreciating my work ^^ And Ash and Nicole, will do yours' eventually, probably this weekend.
I think...I may get some food and then sleep, now.

Why even bother? Just call them up.
But I also understand how the internet can bring certain types of people together. I have around 90 people on my friends list. I'm not close friends with all of them, some of them randomly friended me and I barely even know them. The nice thing about blogs is that it's a great way to let large groups of people know what you're up to. I don't have time to talk to all my 90-something friend individually. So I tell them to go read my blog, and lo and behold, they are up on things.
Here's how I use my blog and my LJ:
- BLOG: for everything in my life. My thoughts, my angsts, my dreams, the kickass shit that happens day-to-day
- LJ: the surveys, the post-whoring, the important things when I need to let EVERYONE know what's going on.
That way people who really know you can check out your blog because they care about your everyday doings, and those who only need to be in on the random things can be notified via LJ. :3
