Hm, Christmas Eve already? It seems to have snuck up on me this year - although I suppose it's a testament to how entertaining this place is, that it distracted me that much. I suppose last-minute decorating will have to suffice. It may be difficult to find a real tree this late, though. We shall see~

And Crowley, I quite enjoyed our conversation the other day. Feel free to drop by.

Well, this is a great deal farther away than Japan~

And I've noticed. Useful, if not very interesting.

[identity profile] peony-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:41 am (UTC)(link)
...I wasn't going to mention that. They don't even like the idea of Japan.

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
Surprise them. If they're anything like my family, they're so bound by tradition its not particularly difficult to do.

Locked to Clow.

Well, I don't have a choice. They're not...fond of the idea of Sakura. They don't seem to get that she's your daughter, they just don't like that a non-Li has the Cards. They also don't like that I don't care.

[identity profile] card-wielder.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:47 am (UTC)(link)
..I..don't know?

Hm? How does the Cardmistress factor into this?

I'm not surprised. However, there is a reason I don't plan on leaving the Cards to my family's care - they were never able to see them as anything more than tools.

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
It was a rhetorical question - do not concern yourself overmuch with it.

Now, how has the Lady Desai been treating you so far?

[identity profile] card-wielder.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:56 am (UTC)(link)
We kind of just arrived not long ago so it's mostly adjusting to being on my own here.

[identity profile] peony-wolf.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 08:59 am (UTC)(link)
[Syaoran's blush is so deep it practically radiates over the device.] I, uh. I love her and I was going back to Tomoeda to be with her. [He's blushing, but his voice is proud and happy.] But I don't need to, because she's here.

That's how I was raised to think of them. Like stronger ofuda.

And she returns those feelings? Very interesting. Not as things had been planned, but the unexpected adds a bit of spice to life.

And that is why she posses them and you don't, to be honest. The Cards are so very much more than that.

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-24 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
Ah. No trouble yet? Things here...well, they are never boring, shall we say.

Yeah. We waited for each other while I was in Hong KOng.

I understand that, now...but they're with the right person. She cares about them. Plus, she's more powerful than me, isn't she?

Ah, how very sweet of you~

Yes, by a fair margin. More powerful than me, someday, though that will take some growing into, I believe.

I can tell. I can see it, but I don't think she realizes it.

She's a cute one, isn't she? She'll realize in time - it's hard not to, when you have a gift like that. I'm glad it all more or less worked out, it seems. She gave the Cards and my Guardians the home they deserved - perhaps, more so than I could have.

[identity profile] tempting-angels.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
I brought a tree.

[identity profile] tempting-angels.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
It's even actually a Pine Tree.

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? Most excellent~

[identity profile] tempting-angels.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, although the family of rather angry squirrels may or may not still be attached...

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, well, what's a day here without a touch of excitement, really?

[identity profile] card-wielder.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:28 am (UTC)(link)
..Trouble...no not really.

Do..what kind of things happen here?

[identity profile] tempting-angels.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
My thoughts exactly.

I'll be leaving shortly.

These particular festivities are really not my style

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
A great number, really - I'm certain you'll get to experience some of them personally soon enough.

If you've no other plans, you and my many-generations-removed nephew should come over for Christmas dinner tomorrow~

[identity profile] legacydeck.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
Each to his own, I suppose~

The tree, however, is much-appreciated.

[identity profile] card-wielder.livejournal.com 2009-12-25 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
We'll definitely be there then.

I'll bring something too.
