I think the wing points may end up being were the straps attach, because the mouth will be the zipper.

Someone on [livejournal.com profile] capslock_bleach posted a photo of a Minazuki plushie that they had made and I pretty much went 'THAT'S ADORABLE I WANT ONE', and then Jon suggested taking it one step further and making it a backpack.
