Yeah, I was on a relatively low dose too,I think - I actually handle stimulants really badly - norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors do crazy stuff too, as does Sudafed.
I've had a plaintext to-do list on my desktop for a while, but I'm trying Astrid for that as it syncs between my phone and the Web version, and I can set it to give me random reminders of items so I go 'oh yeah, that thing!'. It's working petty well so far.
For calender/long term deadlines, I use Google calender - I'm pretty good at remembering when I have stuff within a day or two so if I can ref, I'm good. I also have email reminders set up for garbage day, credit card bills, library book due dates (I owed like $26 in fines care of VPL, my secondary library, not actually sending me these). Basically thank god for the internet.
I should do the cribnotes thing though, I go 'I meant to watch/read that' a lot and then promptly forget again.
