This was great! I love your angry, hurting Rufus. I also love that even just saying the phrase "I didn't see anything" implies that there was something there to see... *wink* Silly Rufus. Had he not been so frightened, maybe he would have realized that? I like that a sentence like that on Tseng's part communicated two things: 1) that he wanted Rufus to trust him and 2) that he was willing to pretend there was nothing there to see, even though there was and he saw it, for Rufus' sake. (Yeah, I think really hard about this stuff, lol.)
