Solutions

The managers came down from their offices on high and decreed that there shall be a firing in the grocery store this week. And there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth by the firee, but it was done, and there was much rejoicing through out the produce department.

In other words, Problem Child is no longer a problem, and apparently caused a bit of a scene on the way out, which I missed. Now if we could only get J to stop showing up to game, life would be good indeed XD

In brief WoW news, I hit Outlands on my mage this week, so in my excitement, I've been spending more time staring at my computer screen than I probably should, especially because Outlands is a pretty weird place, and the surreal is getting to me. On the other hand, Outlands also fulfills my desire to run instances all the time, because I can find groups for the Blood Furnace and Ramparts pretty much all the time. So I've run Ramparts four times, and Blood Furnace twice, in the last four days XD;

Now, to get high and stare at Outlands...

...would probably be brain-warping XD; Particularly if it's Zangarmarsh, which is full of weird mushrooms and mushroom-cities and mushroom-like monsters.

Did the problem child put on sackcloth and ashes as well?

I think the implication that J is making other players abandon games might work...didn't work for me, though...hence I left. (The move was forcing my hand anyway) Also, I think the almighty GM likes J better than you, though I could be wrong.

I wish, although unfortunately probably not XD

I find Nick to be fairly inscrutable, although the impression I get more and more is that nobody actually really likes J, it's just that the assumption is (for Shadowrun at least) that he's there, he's powergaming, he's saying stupid shit, and that this is the order of the world. Even Richard implying that if J kept playing, he'd quit, didn't quite work, and I think I can safely say Nick likes Richard more than J. J made the mistake of insulting Nick's GMing skills, though, so I think we'll be seeing less of him in the future XD

Yes, we can safely say that. We can also say that Nick and Richard knew what J was like when they invited him. I have more commentary, but I'll swallow that.

Although I wouldn't say that insulting Nick's GM skills is necessarily a mistake...but using them to justify your own cruddy playing IS pretty lame.

I suppose that's true, although he's been getting worse and worse, at least in regards to SR. I can't believe he had the audacity to show up on Tuesday after the e-mails he's been sending out, and I'm a bit upset I basically got told to STFU and deal.
