(no subject)

This has ended up getting put on the back burner with everything else that's happened lately, but I finally secured space and firearms for the class. First lesson will be Friday at 6pm at [address] Mostly the basics this week, I think, but there'll be some practice in there too. So, if you're interested, leave your name (I don't particularly care if it's real or not, just what you'd prefer I call you), your level of experience with firearms, and whether you'd be interested in hand-to-hand training as well - that's being put on hold until I determine what the teacher to student ratio is like, as smaller groups are better for that.

There will be a small fee, probably about $15 a class, just to cover ammo and firearms rental. And as I've said before, if I don't think I can trust you with a firearm, I will not teach you.

Lessons in firearms? Interesting. In this city, I am sure there are many who could use the training.

Very much so - this city is a dangerous place. And I have experience training others and some free time to fill.

Interested yourself?

Indeed, I believe we can agree to that. Very kind and crafty of you, sir. You train soldiers, then?

Ah no, no need. Suppose I cannot call it my main expertise, but I've handled firearms for many years now.

Special operatives, actually. I don't have a great deal of respect for the army - they tend to put too much focus on obeying without question and following regulation. I prefer creative thinking in my subordinates.

I see. Yes, very true most of the time. Creative thinking in subordinates is sure to make things much more interesting, at any rate.

And hmm, perhaps I should organize a range night for those of us already skilled with firearms. Never too old to learn something new.

[identity profile] devilmythos.livejournal.com 2009-09-15 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
True, even if sometimes close enough.

Sounds interesting, it's always nice to meet new people and keep the pieces aired. I don't use my guns nearly enough these days. A pity, really. I put such good work into them too.

I'll see what I can get set up.

And I'm not sure we've been introduced - I'm Tseng.

[identity profile] devilmythos.livejournal.com 2009-09-16 12:26 am (UTC)(link)
No, strangely enough no. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tseng. A friend of Miss Sheska, yes?

Jack Alescio DeAngelis, but please, just call me Sparda.

[identity profile] citydragon.livejournal.com 2009-09-16 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, she's mentioned you a few times. You're Eva's husband as well, correct? A pleasure to make yours, as well.

[identity profile] devilmythos.livejournal.com 2009-09-16 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
That is correct. I hope my dear wife hasn't given you any trouble?

[identity profile] citydragon.livejournal.com 2009-09-16 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Hah, no. She's an interesting, engaging woman.

[identity profile] devilmythos.livejournal.com 2009-09-16 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
That she is can't deny that. Not to mention very good with guns, speaking of which.

[identity profile] citydragon.livejournal.com 2009-09-17 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. That was how we met, actually. Her shop is quite impressive.
