(no subject)

This has ended up getting put on the back burner with everything else that's happened lately, but I finally secured space and firearms for the class. First lesson will be Friday at 6pm at [address] Mostly the basics this week, I think, but there'll be some practice in there too. So, if you're interested, leave your name (I don't particularly care if it's real or not, just what you'd prefer I call you), your level of experience with firearms, and whether you'd be interested in hand-to-hand training as well - that's being put on hold until I determine what the teacher to student ratio is like, as smaller groups are better for that.

There will be a small fee, probably about $15 a class, just to cover ammo and firearms rental. And as I've said before, if I don't think I can trust you with a firearm, I will not teach you.

Midgar.

And no - baring some great unforseeable disaster, I'm not sure I'll ever be hiring.

N-no. I don't expect that I would. Though I think I have seen you truly angry. Just the once.

Please accept my apologies, Tseng-sama. I didn't mean to upset you.

Thanks.

Of course.

Woah, dude, sometimes I forget how totally backwards this city is. Ammo? Seriously?

You have a better alternative? I've yet to see a functional handheld energy weapon move past the prototype stage, and given that all ones that were developed were mako-based, so it seemed unwise to continue that line of research. Traditional ammo works, which is what's important for me.

... I hate guns. Too many ways they can go wrong. But it's probably not a bad plan to learn to use one.

Personally, I've never fired anything other than a bowel disruptor, and hand-to-hand would be useful, but I'd wind up the class joke.

In short: I'll take the gun lessons and watch a session or two of the hand fighting before I decide if I'm in.
