[Even though he's not really sure how to handle the dragon's current bad mood, he does his best to keep calm, preparing a pot of tea and letting the cat outside for the moment]

[There is a loud rumbling sound as Tian lands outside Daitou's home, apparently irritated enough to make a grand entrance. Transforming, he then walks up to the door and knocks once.]

[Aah, still grouchy. Souji rushes to open the door least he make the dragon even more irritable.]

[He steps inside with all the flare of a haughty noble, and then turns to look at the other man.]

Well?

I found something of interest taped to my door this morning.

[He goes and takes a seat at the low table, and looks up at Tian, rather bluntly]

But first... I know you're angry with me. Why?

To your door?

[He raises a brow at that, but does follow Souji to the table and takes a seat.]

Tch. That should be obvious.

[There's a brief nod at the first statement. The tape had been rather annoying to peel off, too.]

It isn't. Humor me.

[The usual childish grin is gone, for the moment, and there's a slight edge to his words, because dealing with a grumpy, evasive dragon is not how he has wanted to spend the last few days.]

Humor you? Since when are you in a position to speak like that to me?

[Tian glares at Souji, narrowing his red eyes.]

I saw your dream. You desire someone else.

[He's about to answer 'since we've been in a relationship', but at Tian's mention of the dream, his eyes go wide with surprise]

The dream of the battlefield. And the man who's name I can't hear.

[That is such a venomous yes. Someone is jealous.]

He was my superior, before - vicecommander of the Shinsengumi.

[A pause as he contemplates his tea, takes a sip, the continues]

Rain-san thinks we may have been lovers. When I got my name back - he was the one speaking it.

[Oh why do you say such things, Souji? Like the dragon isn't pissed enough already, now you throw the fact that you were lovers in his face? For all his benevolence and control, he is still a predator underneath.

Digging his claws into the table, he growls darkly as he leans over it to grab hold of the other man.]

Do not mock this. I have been lenient since a man cannot control what he dreams, but you are crossing the line.

I also do not choose what the Sphere chooses to share - would you have preferred it to be one of the many dreams of you, so this entire place can know of our relationship?

[He doesn't struggle - he knows Tian's strength is far greater than his, and he'd rather not go into work looking like his lover beats him. There's definitely a cold formality to his words that show his own anger, though]

A man such as yourself cannot claim to have had no lovers before me. But they are not here, and he is not here.

[He loosens his grip slightly and glares at Souji, baring his fangs again in a deep growl. His eyes looks like slits of blood and gold under the unruly bangs of his silver hair.

But under all that rage and posturing, there's still a hint of pain. He's more hurt than angry, but the great dragon king doesn't deal with such emotions well.]

...and if he was to arrive here?

[And the look in his eyes says that he expects the same from you, mister >|]

[Glaring at Souji, Tian pulls him a little bit closer, even if it was not as violent.]

You are mine. You will honor your word, Souji. I do not share.

[Now that they're closer across the table, Souji closes the distance with a rather forceful kiss.]

My word is my life, in this case. If I break one, you may take the other.

[He responds to the kiss with just as much force, nearly biting Souji's lip in the process.]

[Someone is definitely feeling a little possessive there today. Souji finally pulls away after a moment, looking definitely flushed, but trying for a semblance of composure.]

The other matter I called you here about is... this.

[He pulls a vial of multicolored sand out of his kimono, note still attached, and puts it on the table between them.]

[He breathes a sigh against Souji's shoulder, but it is a sigh of relief rather than annoyance at being interrupted.

Turning his head to look at the vial the other man was holding, he frowned.]
