I doubt it normally gets to -20F in the winter, but it does go below 0 often. Most of my mom's family is from MA and they are always trying to make us jealous with how nice every season but winter is up there! In the Mid-Atlanyic region every season is pretty extreme because it's so damn humid and windy. It's only really "nice" about 2 months a year. And that's one reason i'm looking forward to living in the south, I haaattteee snow.

I'll tell you though, the one place I would not want to live is MN, where my best friend is from. They go above 100 in summer and easily below -30 in winter. I've have to kill myself. *L*
