Yeah, and it probably doesn't help much that most of my Midgar stuff is all weird vaguely introspective shit, which always works well for me in the present tense because it adds a somewhat surreal, stream of consciousness sort of feel. And that some of the Ada/Leon bits I was working on are like that, which may be why my brain is trying to write this one in present tense too.
