I can relate to your sentiments on relationship perfectly, and if fact do, as I experience the same thing to the word. Although sometimes I find it interesting when two people protect each other in different ways, maybe quiet ways. I agree that being open and out loud about it is sometimes the most promising option, but sometimes the silent version proves to be far more noble and less obtrusive.
