[Daitou blinked in surprise as the small girl came from behind the counter. Did she work here? She looked awfully young. And then the pink hair registered.]

[And a big grin in return, along with a bow.]

And you as well! [He very politely did not voice the thought that she seemed a bit young to be running a store by herself - he'd wait and see about that before passing judgement.]

So - you run this? [Wide gesture at the inside of the shop]

Ah, I see. So it's just you and...[thoughtful pause] Someone on the journals said their son worked here, but they didn't mention a name.

Ah, I see! So just the two of you, then?

That must be a lot of work - no wonder you're looking for help!

Mm, I bet! [And he's definitely glancing around with a certain amount of...glee in his eyes. Someone likes his sweets.] It must be a nice place to work, too.
